TCS CodeVita 2013 Contest -Procedure for participating

*Form a team of two members.
*Registrations end on 10-Aug-2013.

Step 1:- Firstly,you need to have a CT number...

-There are two types of identities provided by TCS.
     1)CT number for students of accredited institutions (*our college is accredited....u need this one)
     2)DT number for students of non accredited institutions.

I will be posting the registration process only for CT no. as we don't need DT registration process

Registration Process for Accredited Institutes-

2	Click on New Candidate-Register Here Tab
3	Click On Campus Applicants
4	Complete the registration form
5	Choose your password according to the password policy, your password should be a combination of small letters , capital letters,special character and numerals. For Example July@2013
6	CT number and password will be sent on the primary email id given while completing the registration form
7	Login to your Email Account and note down your CT No. and Password
8	Again Go to the link https://nextstep.tcs.com/
9	Login with the CT no. and password received in the mail under the subheading of registered candidates
10	Click on the tab of Campus commune on the left hand side
11	Click on the tab of Launch Campus Commune at the bottom--Most Important Step.
12	Go to the link of Codevita-TCS Mega Coding Contest.
13	Register yourself for the contest and form your 2 member team
14	A CT No. candidate can form a team only with a candidate having a valid CT no.
15	A CT No. candidate cannot form a team with a candidate having a DT no.

Step 2:- After getting your CT no. register for the CodeVita-2013 competition

For all the students who already have  CT No.s have to login with the same CT no.s on the next step portal and access Campus Commune for the details of the contest.

5	Go to the link of Codevita-TCS Mega Coding Contest.
6	Register yourself for the contest and form your 2 member team
7	A CT No. candidate can form a team only with a candidate having a valid CT no.
8	A CT No. candidate cannot form a team with a candidate having a DT no.
9	A DT No. candidate can form a team only with a candidate having a valid DT no.
10	A DT No. candidate cannot form a team with a candidate having a CT no.

Important Highlights :

• This year's contest is open to all the engineering institutes across the country irrespective of whether the institute is TCS accredited or not.
• It is open for all the students right from 1st year engineering students to the 4th year engineering students.
• It is open for all the engineering specializations.
• Registration and Team Formation starts on 22-July-13.
• Nearest Test Location has to be selected as Mumbai for DT candidates
• Grand Finale would be held in Mumbai.
• A team would consist of 2 members only.
