Indian Institute of Science is conducting a Summer School (June 23-28,
2014) for students completing 3rd year of their undergraduate degree. We
invite eligible students to apply and request you to spread the word to
your friends and other students at your institution.

The main aim of the summer school is to introduce undergraduate students
to cutting-edge research in computer science. The summer school contains
talks, demos, and hands-on sessions by the department faculty, research

computer science. Participating students get an opportunity to interact
with students and faculty in the department and get exposed to a whole new
range of exciting topics relating to computer science research.

The Idea Submission round requires
the teams to conceptualize a consumer mobile application which addresses one or
more needs of an end consumer

candidates from the Top 10 teams will be required to present their Application
to the jury from TCS.

- Teams shall bring either the executable/simulator version of their application for demonstration to evaluation panel.
- Teams will be required to bring their own devices for the demonstration.
- The Application should not deviate from the idea submitted in Round 2. A team which is found to have deviated from the original idea submitted will be disqualified.
Business presentation of the application:

- The teams will be required to present their application to the jury and selected audience.
- The presentation should be done with the help of a PPT.
- Teams may use relevant videos and audios for the presentation.
